Hello, everyone! I just found out that BMW added a new feature to the MyBMW app called Electric Vehicle Analysis. Has anyone tried it out yet?
From what I have read, it is supposed to help ICE (gas-powered) BMW drivers get a sense of what driving an EV would be like. You can select an EV model (like the i4 or iX), and after driving at least 200 starts and covering 1250 miles, it calculates how far you could have gone on a full charger. It is interesting that it uses data from your actual driving habits (via the My Trips feature), so it is more personalized).
I guess it is a way to help people ease into the idea of owning an EV and shake off the usual range of anxiety concerns. Honestly, to me, it feels like a push to get ICE drivers into the dealership for a new EV.
Anyway, I am curious if anyone here has used it yet.
