I've been watching basketball for a long time and I've seen a lot of greats come and go. I figure we need a basketball thread, so lets start with who is your favorite all time player? Jordan, Kobe, Bogues? I love Jordan. I think a lot of it has to do with when you started watching, so he will always be my favorite. Who is your greatest great?

I think I like Shaq the best, not for the basketball as much as his generous spirit in helping others. And he looks like a friendly giant that happens to be very good at basketball.
