Has anyone gotten the Ultimate Care+ plan for the i5 M60? It will be covering brake pad replacements and all scheduled maintenance for 3–5 years, depending on the plan chosen, so I really think it is a great deal. Since the factory warranty excludes brake pads and other wear-and-tear parts, this could help avoid unexpected costs down the road. I also noticed that not all dealers offer it, so I’m wondering if it’s truly worthwhile.
Is the prepaid service plan worth it?

I haven’t bought any plans yet since I’m on a 3 yr lease. With the i5’s regenerative braking you’ll likely barely notice brake wear unless you're actively trying to wear them out
Paying upfront for something you’ll rarely replace is a bit like buying an umbrella you never use. As for the M60 it’s pretty low-maintenance overall. Just my 2 cents

I am coming to BMW i5 from Tesla. Brakes never touched in 3+ years of ownership. Tires rotated regularly as heavy cars burn through tires. Air filters changed at 2 years. I doubt a service plan is worth the cost. Usually the add on plans are profit makers for dealership.
