Will the i5 Touring come to the US? If not, can we ship it from Europe? Who else here is willing to pay the extra price to have the i5 Touring in the US?

The BMW i5 Touring isn’t coming to the U.S. It is designed for Europe and Japan. Importing one from Europe is possible but expensive. You would need to modify it to meet U.S. safety and emissions standards, and that adds to the cost along with shipping, import duties, and taxes.
If you’re a Touring fan, it’s frustrating, but BMW’s U.S. lineup still has the i5 sedan and other electric options worth considering. They might not be Touring, but they are still great cars. I don't know if you like this answer, but this is life.
