i4 vs i5 Dilemma

Okay, so I'm in a bit of a pickle. Pre-ordered the i5, but also have an i4 reservation from ages ago. Honestly, the i5 feels like the better overall deal. I'm already looking at around 75k+ for the i4, so is an extra 10% for all the extra fancy stuff on the i5 really that nuts? I'm so close to pulling the trigger, but that i4 allocation could pop up any second. Ugh. Anyone else stuck in this dilemma? What did you do?

I’ve been driving my i4 for 10 months and, despite preordering the i5 M60, I’m leaning towards skipping the upgrade. We have a CRV for the family, and the i4 works great for my daily commute. The i5 M60 is faster but bigger and not really my style. For an extra $40-50K, the upgrade doesn’t seem worth it. I’m now considering a Taycan or waiting for the 2025 models.

The i5 does offer more value with its added features, but if the i4 is something you’ve been waiting for, it might be worth sticking with.

The i5 does seem like the smarter choice in the long run, but I’ve been thinking about the i4 for so long that it feels like I’m betraying it, haha. I guess I’ll have to see how the i4 allocation shakes out and weigh the pros and cons some more. Decisions, decisions!
